Paige Wells, MS, ATC
Head Athletic Trainer
Dixie Heights High School

Paige recently joined the St. Elizabeth Sports Medicine team in May, 2016. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Cincinnati. Paige is a nationally board certified athletic trainer (NATABOC). She then attended Georgia Southern University where she covered Division I football and men's soccer. Paige also earned a Master's of Science degree in Kinesiology. 

Paige will be providing athletic training services as a full-time athletic trainer at Dixie Heights High School. Services include but are not limited to the prevention, evaluation and management of injuries including coordinating MD and physical therapy appointments. She is also responsible for all first aid and emergency care of the athletes.

Bruce R. Hollday, MD
Team Physician
Dixie Heights High School

Dr. Bruce Holladay graduated from the Medical College of Toledo and completed his general and orthopaedic residency at Akron City Hospital. He completed a year of fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery with the Bone and Joint Institute at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Holladay was named a "Top Doctor" by Cincinnati Magazine in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and again in 2016, and has been a member of Commonwealth Orthopaedic Centers since 1993.  He served as President of the practice from 2011-2014, and is again in that role in 2016.

Dr. Holladay served as a team physician for the 2007 Pan American Games USA men’s and women’s basketball teams in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has also served as a USOC team physician at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. For the past sixteen years, he has been the team physician for several high school teams in Northern Kentucky, and currently serves as Team Physician at Ryle, Boone County, and Dixie Heights High Schools. He is an active member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American College of Sports Medicine.  

Dr. Holladay specializes in sports medicine and knee, shoulder and elbow.

Jake Cain, ATC

Jake recently joined the St. Elizabeth Sports Medicine team in May, 2016. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. Jake is Kentucky state licensed, a member of the National Athletic Training Association, and a nationally board certified athletic trainer (NATABOC).

Jake will be splitting his time to provide athletic training services at both Turkey Foot Middle School and Dixie Heights High School. While at Turkey Foot Middle School he will provide evaluation, prevention, and injury managment services. He will also help coodinate Physician and Physical Therapy appointments.
